David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

Und David sprach: Der HERR, der mich von dem Löwen und Bären errettet hat, der wird mich auch erretten von diesem Philister.

The king of Israel heard of these brave words and sent for David to come before him. When he saw that David was only a boy, he sais, " You are not able to go against this Philistine. You are only a boy, while he has fougth in many battles." Then David said to the king, " Once when I was guarding my father's sheep, I killed a lion and bear without help from any one but the Lord. He will help me figth this man." Then the king said, " Go, and the Lord be with you."

Der König von Israel, gehört dieser tapferen Worte und ließ David, vor ihm zu kommen. Als er sah, dass David nur ein Junge war, er Sais "Sie sind nicht in der Lage, gegen diesen Philister zu gehen. Du bist nur ein Junge, während er fougth in vielen Schlachten hat." Und David sprach zu dem König: "Als ich einmal Bewachung meines Vaters Schafe, ich einen Löwen und Bären getötet ohne Hilfe von irgend jemandem, aber dem Herrn. Er wird mir helfen, diesen Mann Figth." Und der König sprach: "Geh, und der Herr sei mit euch."

And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.
