"River basin" means the area of land from which all surface run-off flows through a sequence of streams, rivers and, possibly, lakes into the sea at a single river mouth, estuary or delta.

Enjoy the beautiful view of the Ostriconi river estuary on the north coast of Corsica. Take your swimming gear for a full experience of the Ostriconi beach. While travelling along the north coast of Corsica, take a left turn towards L'Ostriconi river estuary. After stopping at the car-park look for the sign about the Agriates desert. The cache is a short walk up the slope through macchia shrubs to the left of the sign. After a short journey down the slope you will reach the beautiful Ostriconi beach, but watch out for strong currents(swim only in the designated area)! Have fun and enjoy the breathtaking experience! Genießen Sie die schöne Aussicht auf die Ostriconi Flussmündung an der Nordküste der Insel Korsika. Nehmen Sie Ihre Badesachen für eine volle Erfahrung des Ostriconi Strand. Während der Fahrt entlang der Nordküste der Insel Korsika, biegen Sie links ab in Richtung L'Ostriconi Flussmündung. Nach dem Anhalten auf dem Parkplatz Blick auf das Schild über der Wüste Agriates. Der Cache ist ein kurzer Spaziergang den Hang hinauf durch Macchiabüschen auf der linken Seite des Zeichens. Nach einer kurzen Fahrt den Hang hinunter erreichen Sie den wunderschönen Strand Ostriconi, aber achten Sie auf starke Strömungen (schwimmen nur in dem angegebenen Gebiet)!
