(HU) For the last three years, Macedonia has been a candidate country for EU membership.

Asset-backed securities wrapped by EIF are assigned its AAA/Aaa/AAA rating. EIF may conduct its activities in the territory of the European Union Member States and Candidate Countries to the European Union and in the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries. Recently, EIF has been mandated by the European Commission to participate in securitisations using EU funds from the CIP - Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme 2007-2013.

(17) The candidate countries for accession to the European Union and EEA-EFTA States should be able to participate in the eLearning programme. Experts and educational institutions from other third countries should be able to participate in the exchange of experience in the framework of existing cooperation with these third countries.

(17) Die Kandidatenstaaten für den Beitritt zur Europäischen Union und die EWR-EFTA-Länder sollten an dem Programm eLearning teilnehmen können. Experten und Bildungseinrichtungen aus anderen Drittstaaten sollten die Möglichkeit erhalten, sich im Rahmen der bestehenden Kooperation mit diesen Drittstaaten an dem Erfahrungsaustausch zu beteiligen.

We have to maintain the level of protection that we have achieved and made into one of Europe's common assets; it must also be introduced in the candidate countries, not only on paper, but also in reality.
